Anxiety doesn’t have to control your life anymore.

You may be…

  • experiencing moments where your heart feels like it’s racing for no reason.

  • having difficulty concentrating on important tasks, zoning out or forgetting things

  • finding it difficult to relax, especially at night when your mind is racing, or waking up in the middle of the night and you can’t fall back asleep

  • isolating yourself and canceling plans because you just don’t feel up to it.

  • procrastinating because just the thought of starting something feels overwhelming.

  • paralyzed from the overthinking and have difficulty making decisions.

  • waiting for the other shoe to drop or imagining the worst-case scenario, even when things are fine.

  • staying away from situations, or self-medicating with alcohol or cannabis, in an attempt to avoid feeling embarrassed or uncomfortable.

You’re exhausted from constantly feeling overwhelmed and like everyone else has it together except for you.

You know you are capable of doing quality work that you are proud of, but instead you find yourself making excuses or calling in sick because it all feels like too much. The list of goals that you want to achieve just keeps getting longer and longer because the fear of messing up or getting it wrong keeps you stuck.

Friends and loved ones mention that you’re more distracted and stressed out, which only makes you feel more irritated and ashamed. If they were in your brain and body, they would understand all the things that you are stressing about

There’s a part of you that knows that you have a lot to offer… at work, at home and in your relationships. However, the anxiety you’ve been experiencing leaves you feeling worried, insecure, and stressed.

The restlessness, irritability and overwhelm stops now…

Anxiety can feel debilitating, and you don’t have to manage it alone anymore.

We’ll walk together along your path to regaining control of your symptoms so you can live the life you deserve. A life where you can experience stronger relationships, less fear of judgment, and finally understand what it’s like to “live in the moment”. A life where you feel confident in your decision-making, have stronger boundaries, and trust in you ability to handle whatever challenge life throws your way.

Anxiety therapy can help you break free from the spirals of catastrophic thinking and avoidance. You can finally let go of the fear, shame and criticism that has been holding you back, because you will finally have the clarity to see through the chaos and discover your light.

With therapy, the goal isn’t to completely eliminate anxiety, because it does help to keep us safe, but we’ll reduce the intensity of symptoms and the impact it has. Over time, you’ll feel empowered, optimistic and resilient.

At the end of the day, I want you to know:

Anxiety does not define you. You deserve peace everyday and together we’ll discover how to create that for you.

How we’ll work together

  • From the beginning...

we’ll discover coping skills to help calm your nervous system, keep you in the present, challenge negative thoughts, and create a sense of peace.
Using skills rooted in Mindfulness, DBT, breathwork and movement, each technique will be tailored to what works best for you.
We’ll also understand and explore what anxiety looks like for you, and recognize the patterns behind what you’ve been experiencing - such as what triggers your anxiety, how it affects you, and how you have been responding to it until now.

  • Once we have established helpful coping skills...

we’ll take a deeper dive into the roots of your anxiety. It’s not uncommon for past experiences, self-doubt, or unhelpful beliefs to be hiding under the surface. We’ll explore these roots in a manner that feels safe for you, and utilize EMDR, Parts Work and Psychodynamic Therapy to heal the old wounds so you can build a stronger foundation for emotional well-being.

  • Moving forward with strength and peace.

As we move toward the end of our work together, you will feel more at peace, more in control, and ready to handle life’s challenges without feeling consumed by fear.
While we’ll never be able to completely eliminate anxiety, we can help you feel more in control of your thoughts and emotions so you can illuminate a life with more ease, confidence and joy.
